Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Exodus 20:14

Great Bible (1539)

Thou shalt not break wedlock.

King James Bible (1611)

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Analyzing the difference

The seventh commandment is most familiar today in the King James Bible version, which follows the language of the Geneva Bible here. The “wedlock” version in the Great Bible (based on the earlier translation of William Tyndale) sounds quaint to modern ears; it is also difficult to apply that language to sex before marriage, which is included in some definitions of adultery.
