Printing a book—especially a big one like the King James Bible—took several people working together. Each step had to happen at the right time. From setting type to operating the press, printing was hard, skilled, and often dirty work.

Watch as Manifold Greatness co-curator Steven Galbraith, who is also the Folger Andrew W. Mellon curator of books, shows you the process using a model printing press at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
